Description
NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace 2018 + 2021 + 2024 Editions Combo
This NFPA 70E three edition set includes the 2018, 2021 and 2024 editions of the Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace. Each book is the full standard as NFPA issued it for that cycle.
The set is useful for tracing how a requirement developed, or for reviewing procedures and training material written under an earlier edition.
2018 edition
The 2018 standard brought human factors, including human error, into risk assessment and added Annex Q, Human Performance and Workplace Electrical Safety. It also moved the hierarchy of risk controls from an informational note into the text of the standard and states that eliminating the hazard is the first priority.
2021 edition
The 2021 standard reorganized Article 110 to consolidate the general requirements for electrical safety related work practices, added Article 360 for capacitor hazards, renumbered the research and development laboratory content to Article 350 and revised Table 130.5(C) for estimating the likelihood of an arc flash incident.
2024 edition
The 2024 standard clarifies several requirements and updates the procedures for hazard identification, risk assessment and PPE selection. NFPA now lists a 2027 edition of 70E, which is not part of this set.
