Dragon Ball Z Complete Box Set, Vols. 1-26, Paperback

Dragon Ball Z Complete Box Set: Volumes 1-26 (Paperback)

Twenty-six paperback volumes make up this Dragon Ball Z complete box set, the full Dragon Ball Z run written and drawn by Akira Toriyama. It is aimed at readers who want the whole story of Goku and his friends on one shelf instead of hunting down single books.

The set follows Goku from the clashes with the Saiyans all the way to the final fight against Majin Buu. Over those 26 books he grows as a fighter, as a friend and as the protector of Earth, and the box lets you read that arc in order from start to finish.

From the Saiyans to Majin Buu

Dragon Ball Z picks up Goku’s story and keeps raising the stakes. Early volumes bring the Saiyans to Earth, and later books build toward the long showdown with Majin Buu that closes the series. Because every volume is here, nothing is skipped between those two points.

Toriyama mixes big fights with a lot of comedy, which is why the series sits in action, fantasy and humor at the same time.

Who this box set suits

• Fans of the anime who want to read the original manga version of the story
• Collectors who prefer one matching set over loose volumes bought one at a time
• New readers ready to start Dragon Ball Z at volume 1 and read straight through

Reading the saga in order

A box set solves the usual problem with long manga: missing a volume in the middle. Here the books are numbered 1 to 26 and arrive together, so a reader can go from the first Saiyan fight to the end of the Majin Buu battle without gaps. It also keeps the spines matching on the shelf.
