The Jujutsu Kaisen Series Vol. 0-26, 27 Books Collection Set by Gege Akutami

The Jujutsu Kaisen Series, Vol. 0-26 (27 Books)

Gege Akutami had published a few short works before Jujutsu Kaisen began running in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2018. This jujutsu kaisen 27 book set collects the series from the prequel, volume 0, through volume 26.

The story is a supernatural exorcist adventure. Cursed spirits feed on people who have no idea they are there, and a hidden school of jujutsu sorcerers exists to stop them.

Volume 0: Yuta Okkotsu and Rika

The prequel follows Yuta Okkotsu, a nervous high school student whose childhood friend Rika has become a Curse and will not leave him. Rika is no ordinary Curse, and Satoru Gojo, a teacher at Jujutsu High, takes notice. Gojo talks Yuta into enrolling, but Yuta has to learn fast if he is going to face the Curse that follows him.

The danger of Sukuna

Fragments of the feared demon Ryomen Sukuna are scattered and lost. Any demon that eats them could gain enough power to destroy the world, which is why the sorcerers of Jujutsu High matter so much to the plot that follows.

Books in the set

• Jujutsu Kaisen 0 (prequel)
• Jujutsu Kaisen, Vol. 1 to Vol. 26
• 27 books in total

Why own the run from volume 0

Volume 0 sets up the school, the teachers and the rules of cursed energy before the main story starts. With volumes 1 to 26 alongside it, a reader can move straight from the prequel into the main series and keep going without gaps. It also keeps the collection in one matching run on the shelf.
